    Power plant mishap spills oil in Charles  Nov 23, 2009
    CAMBRIDGE Lubrication oil spilled into the Charles River from the Mirant Kendall Cogeneration Station power plant during a turbine cleaning early yesterday, according to state Department of Environmental Protection spokesman Ed Coletta. The oil was accidentally mixed with pressurized water used to cool turbines during operation and was released into Broad Canal and the Charles River. (Boston Globe)
