It starts from winning a state title at Columbus Scotus under Puetz (I believe), playing at Nebraska (and starting his senior year I believe), his first head coaching job was right after college at David City High where he turned the program around right away and took them to the playoffs and finally with the coaching staff of Luebbe and assistants Coach Jack Young and Coach Jeff Page.
