    The Arkansas Legislature passed the ban during the last session, calling it Paul's Law, after Paul Davidson of Jonesboro, who was killed in a head-on crash with a driver who was allegedly typing a text message. Under the new law drivers of any age can be stopped by a law enforcement officer if there is probable cause the person driving the vehicle is reading or sending a text.
