According to the plan, the roadway will be completed from the Lake Barkley Bridge east to the entrance of Lake Barkley State Park, a total of three miles, at a cost of 21 million ... In all likelihood the first section from the new bridge to the Barkley Lake Lodge entrance, or at least part of it, will be let to construction at about the same time as the New Lake Barkley Bridge, hopefully sometime in 2012.
