Maynard s recreation committee has big plans, which include increasing the number of programs offered to students and residents, and eventually to largely take control of the Memorial Gym from the town. However, in order for those plans to come to fruition, the commission needs a home for its programs and the location of most current Recreation Commission programs, the Memorial Gym on Summer Street looks as if it is falling apart.
