Taking a look at teams from the region that have won a state championship (Flathead, Ronan, Polson, Seeley-Swan, Whitefish, Bigfork and Flathead County in 1907) there have been 24 boys' titles and 32 girls titles. Considering the girls' state meet has only been running 41 years and the boys' has been going since 1904 (except 1917 for World War I and 1943-1945 for World War II), that's pretty impressive for the girls in the Flathead region.
