-- Crews have recovered the body of 30-year-old Ridgecrest woman who died after a fall down an abandoned mine shaft. Kern County authorities say Linda Marie Rose fell 100 feet around 2 p.m. Sunday while exploring the shaft at the Tungsten Peak Mine in Inyokern. (Fresno Bee -- State)
