    SAINT JAMES An 8-year-old boy struck by a car Thursday night on Jordan Road was in an intensive care unit Friday after a lengthy surgery and several blood transfusions, Washington County Sheriffs Deputy Michael Thompson said Friday night.     SAINT JAMES An 8-year-old boy suffered compound fractures to both legs and a head injury Thursday night after he was struck by a car while riding a bicycle in front of 9045 Jordan Road, officials said. The boy was riding a bicycle in the road when a Pontiac Grand Am came over the crest of a hill and struck him, according to a 911 dispatcher and the Washington County Sheriffs Department.
