    SARATOGA SPRINGS -- An unknown Civil War soldier from New York who helped Union troops repel Confederate forces from their first incursion north is coming home this month to be buried, exactly 147 years after dying in the Battle of Antietam, the bloodiest one-day battle in American history. The soldier, believed to be 19 to 21 years old, was killed in the center of the struggle on Sept. 17, 1862, when the opposing armies collided outside Sharpsburg, Maryland, along Antietam Creek.
